Data Management Plan
A Data Management Plan (DMP) is a document outlining the strategy for managing research data throughout the lifecycle of a project, encompassing pre-research, during, and post-research phases, providing a structured framework for handling and preserving data in accordance with established guidelines and best practices.
The primary objective of a DMP is to guarantee the availability and utility of data, while detailing the strategies researchers will employ to enhance data accessibility and facilitate its reusability.
Effective data management planning streamlines scientists’ workflows, bolster research productivity and visibility, mitigate redundant efforts, and ensure both present and future stakeholders can comprehend and utilize the data effectively.

Openness is implemented responsibly, taking account of ethical, legal, contractual, security and intellectual property requirements.
