NIMSB is developing cutting-edge Technology Platforms to advance medical systems biology and accelerate innovation with direct impact on human health. By applying breakthrough systems biology approaches, NIMSB aims to better understand human biology and drive medical innovation.
In collaboration with Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and the Max Delbrück Center, the institute is establishing state-of-the-art infrastructure that provides access to advanced technologies, equipment, training, and expert consultation, while supporting collaborative research and technology development.
Currently hosted at the Champalimaud Foundation Campus in Lisbon, NIMSB benefits from a leading biomedical research environment with access to technological and scientific platforms, while building its own infrastructure toward becoming an independent Centre of Excellence.
