The NOVA Institute for Medical Systems Biology (NIMSB) continues to expand its scientific community, strengthening its mission to advance interdisciplinary research in biomedical and systems biology.
Since its launch, NIMSB has established a strong foundation with four research groups already operating within the institute:
Together, these laboratories are contributing to the development of innovative research programs addressing fundamental questions in health and disease.
Over the coming months, NIMSB will further grow with the arrival of four new group leaders, who will establish their laboratories within the institute and expand its research landscape: André Dias, Carolina Trenado Yuste, and Estibaliz Gómez de Mariscal.
The addition of these new research groups will strengthen NIMSB’s scientific diversity and collaborative environment, fostering new opportunities for interdisciplinary research and innovation.
With a rapidly growing community of researchers, NIMSB is building a vibrant hub for cutting-edge biomedical science, bringing together expertise across disciplines to better understand complex biological systems and their implications for human health.
Each week, we will present one of our Group Leaders on the LinkedIn and Instagram.
Stay tuned!
