On May 26th, the NIMSB Mini-Symposium on Technology Platforms brought together researchers and collaborators for an inspiring afternoon of science, innovation, and exchange of ideas at ITQB NOVA, in the Municipality of Oeiras.

We had the pleasure of hearing five insightful talks from Vedran Franke, Cristian Munteanu, Panos Firbas Nisantzis, Benjamin Neely, and Ricardo Leite. Their presentations not only highlighted the forefront of research in proteomics, metabolomics, single-cell transcriptomics, and AI-driven data science but also offered valuable perspectives on the development of the Technology Platforms that are central to NIMSB’s mission.

The event was a true reflection of the interdisciplinary spirit we are fostering at NIMSB, and a step forward in our efforts to build a robust, collaborative environment for advancing precision medicine.

We are sincerely grateful to ITQB NOVA for their generous support in hosting the event, and to our colleagues from the Max Delbrück Center in Berlin for their ongoing collaboration and commitment to helping NIMSB grow.
