Over the past weeks, the NIMSB has been marking an important milestone — 18 months since our official kick-off.

During this period, we focused on laying a strong foundation for the future of the institute. We established our core team, defined our scientific priorities, and began shaping the infrastructure that will support cutting-edge research in medical systems biology.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to present our progress to the European Commission, concluding the first formal reporting cycle. It was a moment of reflection and renewed motivation, reinforcing the path we are building toward becoming a European center of excellence in our field.

 

These first months have been intense, collaborative, and full of learning. We are proud of what we have achieved together, and excited about the journey ahead.
