NIMSB-MDC Staff Exchange in Berlin Marks Key Step Towards Strengthening Operational Capacity and Long-Term Collaboration

 

As NIMSB continued to develop, the third NIMSB-MDC Staff Exchange took place in Berlin in April 2025, reflecting the evolving dynamics of the collaboration. With a larger team and many projects progressing to more advanced stages of implementation, this meeting focused on providing targeted, practical insights relevant to this next phase. Colleagues from Lisbon met with representatives of MDC’s administrative departments to gain expertise in key operational areas.

The objective was to integrate this knowledge intothe development of NIMSB’s administrative structures, ensuring alignment with best practices. While the previous exchange introduced participants to MDC’s technological infrastructure, this meeting focused on leveraging that knowledge for NIMSB’s own development. This exchange strengthened the foundation for long-term collaboration by equipping the NIMSB team with the expertise and strategies necessary for efficient project execution and institutional growth.
